An Update

Well that turned out well. As you might've noticed I haven't had any new posts in quite some time, this would be due to my lack of internet service for about the past 3 weeks. As a result here's a speed update on Creative Studios Photography!

The Mobile Phone Project: (You can read what it is here)
Since I'd have about 24 days or so of photos to upload I'm just going to put this project to rest. It was fun for me while I was doing it but it just involved too much of my time that I couldn't devote to a side project.

Trips:
My first post on here was about a trip I took to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and I posted a number of photos from it. In the past few weeks I've been on about 3 different trips, one to San Diego, one to the Mountains, and one to Don Pedro Lake. All of these will have their own posts since I took so many photos at each location.

See my trip to San Diego's beaches here!
See my trip to the Mountains of Northern California here!

As always if you have any questions or want to get ahold of me, send an email! creative.studios.photos@gmail.com

The Mountains are Calling my Name

In the span of 24 hours I went from the sandy beaches of San Diego, to the rugged mountains Sierra Nevada Mountains. Even though I love the beach there's just something different about the mountains, something majestic. That's why they're my favorite place to be.

The Majesty Abounds

This time I wasn't just up there for fun, I was helping at a camp for 3rd-6th graders. The week was long, but fun; tiring, but rewarding. The speed at which these kids could keep going was amazing. I'd never tried to watch 40 kids at once and keep them all entertained. Quite an undertaking.

We taught basic survival skills: First Aid, Shelter Building, Land Navigation, Fire Starting, and Evasion to name a few.
Splinting a "broken" arm
The games we played were everything from an elaborate version of flashlight tag, to seeing who could get the most cards stuck in a watermelon.

Overall it was a great time enjoyed by all, and it reinforced in me, my love for the mountains.

A Trip to San Diego

Well in the past few weeks I traveled down to San Diego, home to some amazing beaches, sunny weather, and (in some areas) quite a crowd of tourists. It's interesting to me, living in the Central Valley, where you have to travel a bit to reach the ocean, to experience what all these people see on a day-to-day basis.

Whether it's the thrill of surfing...
"I did it!
To the birds that roam the seas...
A view from above

The sunsets over the ocean...
The sun's reflection is dazzling

Or the salty spray upon the rocks.
I've always loved the spray upon the rocks
Overall the ocean is such a beautiful place, these people are blessed to live there. If I had the chance, I don't think I'd say no to living on the beach.
